Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 August 2026
This policy applies to personal information handled through the Voice Up Coaching website and initial enquiries.
Our commitment
Voice Up Coaching respects the dignity, agency and privacy of every person. This policy explains how personal information connected with this website is collected, used, stored and disclosed.
Additional privacy, consent and safeguarding arrangements may apply to lessons, courses, organisational programs and Your Voice Matters activities, particularly when children, survivors or sensitive information are involved.
Information we may collect
- Contact details and information you choose to include when emailing us.
- Enquiry details, including the lesson, course, training or organisational program you wish to discuss.
- Business, professional or organisational information relevant to your enquiry.
- Technical information ordinarily generated when a website is accessed, such as device, browser, approximate location, security and usage logs.
- With separate, informed permission: feedback, testimonials, photographs, audio, video or stories.
Sensitive information and children
Please do not send health information, details of abuse, personal histories or information about a child through an initial website enquiry unless specifically requested and an appropriate secure process has been agreed.
Where a program involves a person under 18, Voice Up Coaching will work with the responsible parent, guardian or organisation and follow applicable consent, safeguarding and privacy requirements. Participation never creates automatic consent to publicity, photography or recording.
Why we use information
- To respond to enquiries and discuss suitable services or partnerships.
- To arrange and deliver requested lessons, courses, training or programs.
- To administer relationships, communications, payments and records where applicable.
- To protect participants, maintain website security and meet legal or safeguarding responsibilities.
- To use an approved testimonial, image or story only within the scope of the permission given.
How information may be shared
Information is shared only where reasonably necessary: with service providers supporting communications, website hosting, administration or delivery; with an organisation involved in an agreed program; where you have authorised the disclosure; or where disclosure is required or permitted by law.
Some technology providers may process or store information outside Australia. Where relevant, Voice Up Coaching takes reasonable steps to select reputable providers and limit the information shared.
Third-party websites
Links may take you to external services such as Givebutter or partner websites. Those organisations collect and handle information under their own privacy policies. Voice Up Coaching does not receive every piece of information you provide directly to them.
Storage, security and retention
Voice Up Coaching takes reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No email or online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed for its purpose, legal obligations, safeguarding, dispute management or legitimate business records, then securely deleted or de-identified where appropriate.
Your choices and rights
You may ask what personal information Voice Up Coaching holds about you, request correction, withdraw an optional consent or raise a privacy concern. Withdrawal will apply to future use where practicable and will not affect lawful use that has already occurred.
Marketing messages, if introduced, will include a way to unsubscribe. Voice Up Coaching will not sell personal information.
Privacy concerns
Please contact Voice Up Coaching first so a concern can be understood and addressed. Include enough information to identify the issue, but do not send unnecessary sensitive details by email.
If a concern cannot be resolved, you may be entitled to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or another relevant regulator.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the website, programs, service providers or legal requirements change. The latest version and revision date will remain available on this page.
